In all honesty, America under 4 more years with George Bush as President means more insecurity in the world and the pepertuation of class divide. And America will remain to dreaded and never respected.

As a non-American, I view the prospect of another Bush term with considerable misgivings.

What I cannot understand is why U.S. voters do not remember that 9/11 happened while Bush was semi-President. He failed to prevent the attacks. It was his fault that 3,000+ people died in the USA.

He failed to eliminate Bin Laden and Mullah Omar as threats to the USA - they are still there and they are still active internationally. This is another Bush failure. It was his fault that unknown numbers of US service personnel died in Afghanistan.

He led the coalition which toppled Sadam Hussein but the original justification for war was a lie. Do US voters intend to reward someone who lied to them about WMD and war with Iraq?

Since his declaration "Mission Accomplished" the death toll for US personnel in Iraq has risen to almost 1,000; presumably, it will exceed 1,000 by November 4th.

Bush failed to win the war in Iraq and he is responsible for the deaths of 1,000 young Americans and countless thousands of young and elderly Iraquis.

He is lucky the remit of the International Court for War Crimes does not extend to him or he would be facing trial by now.

His economic record is a mess and he has turned many other countries against the USA. His foreign policy is a failure, with most other countries becoming less friendly and less respectful of the US and its people.

So, why is Bush neck-and-neck with Kerry?

Do US voters intend to reward Bush's many failures with a further 4-year term in which he can get things even more wrong for the USA?

Your post was well written and correct in all your points. Bush did lose the election (see http://legitgov.org/index_hot_April5.html for specifics).
The jerk that responded using the initials CTL does not represent all of America, but sadly that is how many close-minded people in America think. They are taught in schools and by the media that if you say anything negative about the USA then you're evil. They are told not to think for themselves and to just be "patriotic".
This CTL person obviously is one of the many who has chosen not to think for themselves. It's the belligerent idiots like him that is further ruining the once-great reputation of the USA.
I hope Kerry wins for the sake of the US and the world. When Bush went to war in Iraq against serious protests from the people that is when I gave up. I had lived in America all my life and that year I moved out never to return.
So, John, not all Americans are as stupid and belligerent as CTL. There are some good ones left there and hopefully they'll vote Bush out.
To CTL: go back to your double-wide in the trailer park and try to read a book.

RNCNotWelcome.org - An Embarrassment

Just prior to the RNC convention in NYC, the website RNCNotWelcome.org posted a list of EVERY delegate attending the RNC convention. The list included each delegates full name, home address, phone number, email address, and where the delegate would be staying during their visit. In addition, RNCNotWelcome posted all planned events that the delegates would be taking part in. Fellow citizens, this was an act of blatant voter intimidation. Is this what America has come to? Is this the thinking of the left in America? Take a stand against this kind of thinking.
